About the Fair Housing Council of Central California
The Fair Housing Council of Central California is a nonprofit organization committed to upholding the principles of the Fair Housing Act, which protects individuals from housing discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, and disability.
Founded in 1994 by M.J. Borelli and now led by Executive Director Bryant Williams, our mission is to bring awareness to housing discrimination and ensure equal access to housing for all. We serve the Central Valley and beyond, working to educate communities, investigate complaints, and advocate for fair treatment in housing. We are dedicated to helping any community in need, standing as a resource and ally in the fight for housing justice.
